This Group usually meets every first Monday in the month in the church hall.

We are a group of very mixed ages, that got together to enjoy some good company and interesting talks. It is not primarily a money making group but we do try to raise some from our coffee funds so we can make a donation when a charity comes to talk to us.

Christmas time gifts are collected to support both ladies and children at the local refuge and the Young Peoples Centre.

Every March a coach load go to our local theatre usually to see a musical that is put on each year. Husbands and families are also invited as well so making a good night out.

We would love you to join us whether you have been in Shaftesbury a long time, or just moved in.

We meet on Thursday at 2.30pm in the Shearer Room,. All are welcome, ladies and gentlemen. No age limit. We have a varied programme with visiting speakers. During the year we try to arrange for six charities to come and speak. We usually finish about 3.15pm with a cup of tea and biscuit for a chat. Our aim is fellowship, so do come and join us.
